Man injured in Marlow High Street stabbing

Police have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with an incident early this morning

Police have launched an investigation following a stabbing outside a pub in Marlow.

The incident occurred outside the Old Brewery Public House on High Street around 12.37am this morning (Sunday 12th July 2026), involving a fight between two men.

A man in his thirties was stabbed in the chest and remains hospitalised in a stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Arrest and Witness Appeal

A 24-year-old man from High Wycombe has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent.

He is currently in police custody as enquiries continue.

Detective Inspector Phil Turner-Robson from Buckinghamshire CID is urging anyone who witnessed the fight inside or outside the pub to come forward.

"We are carrying out a thorough investigation into this serious assault and I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the disorder, either inside the Old Brewery Public House or in the High Street area outside, to please come forward," he said.

The detective inspector highlighted the importance of any photos or videos taken during the time of the England match against Norway.

"I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who was in the area between midnight and 1am and may have seen the incident or the moments leading up to it."

Officers are still present at the High Street scene while the investigation is underway.

"We would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation," Turner-Robson added.
