Man from Luton charged with child sex offences

Hertfordshire police have charged a man from Bedfordshire as part of an investigation into child sex offences.

Patrick Joyce, 61 of Hart Hill Lane, Luton was charged with the following offences on Friday:

Engaging in sexual communication with a child, arranging/facilitating the commission of a child, causing a child to watch a sex act and being in possession of a bladed article in public place.

The charges relate to offences that occurred in Hertfordshire between 23 October and 13 November this year.

Joyce has been remanded into custody following a court appearance at Hatfield Remand Court on Saturday.

He will next appear on Tuesday 16th December at St Albans Crown Court.
