Man charged with robbery and assault in Bletchley
33-year-old to appear in court following incident at Co-operative store
A man has been charged with multiple offences following a robbery at a Co-operative store in Bletchley earlier this week.
Wayne Thomas, 33, of Ennerdale Close, Bletchley, has been charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and possession of an imitation firearm while committing a Schedule 1 offence.
The charges relate to an incident at the Co-operative store on Water Eaton Road, Bletchley, which occurred just before 6am on Wednesday, 17th December.
Thomas was arrested on Wednesday evening and is due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court today.
A second man, aged 46, from Milton Keynes, who was also arrested in connection with the incident, has been released on police bail with conditions.
