Detective Chief Inspector Tanya Shotbolt emphasised their commitment to tackling knife crime:
“Weapons and violence have no place in our county, and we remain relentless in our efforts to tackle knife crime and keep people safe.
"Choosing to pick up a knife carries serious and devastating consequences, impacting not only those involved but also the wider community, and there is simply no justification for it.
We continue to work with our partners and communities to reduce harm and remove knives from the streets, and urge anyone carrying a weapon to think twice and Just Drop It.”
