Man admits killing other during charity event at Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club

A man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter after an altercation at a charity event lead to a man's death.
Jack Oliver Frogell, known to friends and family as Olly, was injured in the early hours of Saturday 25th October 2025.
He died on Tuesday, 4th November.
Today, David Lewis, 38, of Fennycroft Road, Hemel Hempstead, admitted the offence at Luton Crown Court.
He will be sentenced on 25 March.
In a tribute, Olly’s wife Lisa said: “Our beloved Olly loved by so many, he was truly the most wonderful Dad and loving husband but also the heart of our community.
This has left us with a huge void in our lives that can never be filled.”
