Luton Town and Barnsley Football Clubs have both been fined £13,500 by the Football Association (FA) after a mass confrontation occurred at the end of their League One matchup in October.

The altercation at Kenilworth Road followed Luton's 2-1 victory, with tensions flaring when Barnsley’s Amani Richards believed he had earned a penalty but was instead booked for simulation.

According to the FA, both clubs failed to ensure that their players and technical staff conducted themselves appropriately after the final whistle.

The clubs admitted to the charges, leading to an independent commission imposing the fines.
