Man suffers 'stab wounds' in Watford as police launch appeal

A man in his early 20s was injured earlier this month

Hertfordshire Police are appealing for information and witnesses as part of an ongoing investigation into a stabbing in Watford.

A fight broke out between a group of people on Forest Road shortly before 5pm on the 5th of March.

A man in his early 20s then left the scene in a black BMW, arriving at an address with non-life-threatening injuries suspected to be stab wounds.

He received hospital treatment and was later discharged.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We appreciate this incident will cause concern among the community. While we are still working to establish the circumstances, we believe those involved are known to each other.

"If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your local officers."
