Officers seek information following incident involving passenger with mobility issues

Police are investigating a violent incident that took place on a train bound for Luton Airport Parkway.

The assault happened at around 3.20pm on the 3rd of June when a passenger with mobility issues requested a fellow traveller to move to allow them to sit down.

The man reacted aggressively and allegedly placed his hand on the back of the passenger's head before lifting them by the throat.

Authorities are interested in speaking to the individual captured in a released image, believing he may possess valuable information regarding the investigation.

British Transport Police have encouraged those who recognise the man to reach out.
