High Wycombe man jailed for drug offences and weapon possession
Jeremy Boggeln sentenced to over three years
Jeremy Boggeln, 40, of Abercromby Avenue, High Wycombe, has been sentenced to three years and eight months in prison for drug offences and possession of an offensive weapon following a Thames Valley Police investigation.
Boggeln plead guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply controlled class A drugs, including heroin and crack cocaine, as well as possession of an offensive weapon. His sentencing took place at Aylesbury Crown Court on 8th October, where the court also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of drugs, paraphernalia, and the weapon involved.
The charges stem from an incident on 15th June when Boggeln was stopped and searched by officers under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act on Nutfield Lane. During the search, officers discovered and seized crack cocaine, heroin, and a mobile phone. Further investigation at a related address led to the confiscation of £230 in cash, another mobile phone, and a flick knife. An enhanced search in custody unveiled additional class A drugs concealed on Boggeln.
In total, officers seized 62 wraps of crack cocaine weighing 6.66 grams and 42 wraps of heroin weighing 4.15 grams.
Following his arrest, Boggeln was charged on 16th June.
PC Becky Burton from the High Wycombe Neighbourhood Disruption Team stated: “Boggeln was involved in the supply of class A drugs in our communities, bringing harmful substances into High Wycombe that cause significant harm to individuals, families, and the wider community. Thames Valley Police is committed to disrupting such criminality."
PC Burton added that thanks to proactive police efforts, drugs were recovered before they could be sold on the streets, and Boggeln's sentencing demonstrates the consequences of such activities.
