Teens clash in supermarket car park in Hatfield

The young people involved reportedly had weapons

A witness appeal has been launched following an altercation in a car park in Hatfield over the weekend,

The incident happened at around 2.10pm on Sunday (22nd February), at the Asda car park in the town centre.

Two groups of teenagers were reportedly involved, and they were said to be carrying weapons.

No injuries have been confirmed, but authorities are trying to identify those involved.

Detective Constable Jessica Gibbs is leading the investigation and commented on the need for public assistance:

“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.

Due to the time of day, the car park was busy and there may be several people who saw what happened.

Additionally, if you have any dash cam footage then please share it with us as it may help progress the investigation.”
