Four more arrested after men seriously hurt in Little Billington
Three men were taken to hospital after violence broke out outside a property on Gipsy Lane
Four more people have been arrested after a serious disturbance in Little Billington left three men with serious injuries.
Police were called to Gipsy Lane at about 2.20pm on Wednesday 20 May 2026 after reports of violence outside a property. Three men were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A man in his 50s was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and remains in custody for questioning.
The same day, a man in his 20s and a 19-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders. A woman in her 50s was then arrested on Friday on suspicion of the same offence. All three also remain in custody.
Earlier arrests
Police said four other people — two men in their 50s, an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman — were arrested last week on suspicion of assisting offenders. They have since been bailed with strict conditions while enquiries continue.
A man in his 20s was also arrested in Oxford on Saturday 23 May on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder linked to the disturbance. He has since been bailed with strict conditions.
Detective Superintendent David Skarratts said officers were continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the disturbance.
He said: “We are continuing to pursue all lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances of what happened in the lead up and during the incident.
“We are maintaining a visible police presence in the area to reassure the community, and would still like to hear from anyone who may have any information that could assist our enquiries.”
Police are asking anyone who was in the Slapton Road area between 1.45pm and 3.15pm on Wednesday 20 May to come forward if they saw anything suspicious or have CCTV or dashcam footage.
Officers are also keen to trace footage showing a black Volkswagen Golf, a white Citroen Berlingo or a white Ford Transit in the area at the time.
