Buckinghamshire Fire Service take on a 'quacking' rescue mission

Firefighters from West Ashland, along with the water rescue team from Newport Pagnell, teamed up for an adorable rescue mission involving four ducks in distress.

The ducks found themselves trapped in a dried-up pond filled with deep mud, prompting a swift response from the crews who brought along a rescue sled to reach the stranded birds.

The ducks have now been handed over to Milton Keynes Swan Rescue.
