Fifth person arrested following violent disturbance in Billington

A fifth person has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder after three men were seriously hurt in Little Billington.

Detectives picked up a man in his twenties in Oxford on Saturday, following Wednesday’s violent disturbance outside a home on Gipsy Lane, where machetes were recovered.

Police say the three men are still in hospital.
