Father and son drug dealer duo jailed after Stevenage police operation
Pair sentenced to more than five years combined after officers seized cocaine, cannabis and cash
A father and son involved in the distribution of Class A and Class B drugs across the Stevenage area have been sentenced to prison following a major police investigation.
Detectives launched an operation in November 2025 which resulted in the arrest of two suspects. During the raids, officers recovered cocaine, cannabis and around £2,600 in cash.
The pair appeared before St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday, 26 May, where they admitted a series of drug supply offences.
Charlie Wyatt, 33, of Furzedown in Stevenage, was sentenced to two years in prison for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, along with an additional six months for conspiracy to supply Class B substances. He also received a concurrent nine-month sentence for possession with intent to supply both Class A and Class B drugs.
His father, Simon Wyatt, 58, of Eliot Road, Stevenage, was jailed for 30 months for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and a further three months for Class B offences.
The court also ruled that the seized cash be forfeited and donated to a Hertfordshire charity. Both men were additionally ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £228.
Detective Constable Harrison Newbury-Kemp, from the Serious and Organised Crime Investigation Unit, said: “These two were involved in running the ‘Bill and Ben’ line that was supplying drugs to the Stevenage area.
“These sentences will have a significant effecton the drug supply and related crime in Stevenage. We continue to rely on the public to be our eyes and ears. If you have any information about drug dealing, please report it — together we can help keep Hertfordshire safe.”
