Woman in her 80's dies after crash near Chicksands
An investigation is underway
A woman in her 80's has died after a serious crash on the A600 near Chicksands.
The incident involved two vehicles: a black Mercedes E220 and a black Seat Ateca on Saturday (27th June)
Emergency services were alerted around 3.40pm, and four people were taken to hospital following the crash.
An elderly woman in her 80s, who was a passenger in the Seat, died from her injuries later that night.
Sergeant Ian Manley of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit expressed condolences to the deceased's family during this difficult time.
Manley urged anyone who saw the incident or captured dashcam footage to assist with the investigation into the crash circumstances.
