Pair charged in County Lines drug supply in Watford and Hertsmere
Class A drugs and more than £2,000 cash seized during Hertfordshire Constabulary operation.
Two men have been arrested and charged after police found suspected Class A drugs and more than £2,000 in cash during a raid linked to County Lines drug dealing in Hertfordshire.
Hertfordshire Constabulary’s County Lines Investigations Unit, alongside the Operational Support Group, carried out searches at two addresses on Amias Drive, Edgware. The operation was part of an investigation into drug supply affecting Watford and Hertsmere.
Abrahin Sossongo, 26, and Philippe Sossongo, 23, both of Amias Drive, Edgware, were arrested and later charged with supplying Class A drugs – crack cocaine and heroin – and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine).
Detective Sergeant Chris Cowell, from the County Lines Investigations Unit, said, “Hertfordshire Constabulary works tirelessly to deliver against the government’s 10 year ‘from harm to hope’ plan, aiming to make communities safer by reducing crime."
