Reward offered as hunt continues for convicted driver in Buckinghamshire
Police are seeking help from anybody who may know where they can find Emmanuel Sayki, 31
A man convicted of causing the death of his infant daughter through dangerous driving is still being sought by police in Buckinghamshire.
Emmanuel Sakyi, 31, was sentenced in June to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of the charge, but he failed to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court for both his trial and sentencing, and remains at large.
Crimestoppers Reward
Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £7,500 for information that directly leads to Sakyi’s arrest. According to Beth Simpson, Crimestoppers Regional Manager for South Central West, "This is an appalling case involving the death of a baby girl – even worse, her death was as a result of the actions of her father, who was behind the wheel."
Simpson further stated, "Someone, somewhere will know where Emmanuel Sakyi is located. If you have information but don't feel able to speak to police, you can contact Crimestoppers completely anonymously. We are not the police. We don't ask for your details, and your information could make a vital difference in achieving justice for Emmanuela."
Fatal Crash
On Sunday 4 December 2022, Sakyi was driving while more than two-and-a-half times the legal drink-drive limit, according to Thames Valley Police, when he collided head-on with a Fiat 500, resulting in his daughter Emmanuela’s tragic death due to improper securing in a child seat.
Following the crash, Sakyi fled on foot, leaving his injured partner and daughter behind, according to police reports.

Police urge anyone with information on Sakyi's whereabouts to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or use their online form.
Officers say it is crucial that any sightings of Sakyi are reported to them by calling 999 immediately.
