Arrest man after Chesham shooting

A man has been arrested in relation to a shooting in Chesham.
The incident happened on Townsend Road at about 6.10pm on Tuesday 10 June.
The victim, a man in his thirties, was on foot when he was shot at by a passenger of a silver coloured VW Scirocco.
Following the incident, the vehicle was then driven from the scene.
The victim sustained injuries to his shoulder, which thankfully were not life-threatening. He was treated at hospital, but has later discharged from hospital.
A 31-year-old from Chesham was arrested on Wednesday (16 July) on suspicion of attempted murder and was released on police bail until 30 September.
Another man, Mark Sturt, aged 31, of Up Corner Close, Chalfont St. Giles, has already been charged in relation to the incident, with one count each of attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of a controlled drug of class B. He is awaiting trial.
A third man, aged 37 and also from Chesham, was arrested on 13 June in connection with the incident. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray, and has been released on police bail until 4 September.
A fourth man, aged 33 from Chalfont St. Giles, was arrested on 1 July in connection with the incident. He was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released on police bail until 22 September.
