Four masked offenders armed with knives and dressed dark clothing stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery in Chalfont St Giles yesterday (17/8).
Four masked offenders armed with knives and dressed dark clothing stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes from Co-op Food on High Street at around 9.20pm.
An investigation is ongoing and officers will be conducting extra patrols in the area.
Detective Sergeant Simon Nelmes said: “I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about this armed robbery to please contact police as soon as possible to support our ongoing investigation.
“I understand this may be concerning for people but we are committed to protecting them and bringing the offenders to justice.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area around the time of the robbery and saw what happened, or has dash-cam or other footage that may assist our enquiries.”
Anyone with CCTV or video doorbell in the area, or any drivers with a dash-cam who were driving nearby at the time, are being asked to check recordings in case you have captured anything relevant.
