CCTV images released after elderly woman spat at in Borehamwood
Police say the suspects were possibly attempting a distraction theft, although, there is no indication that anything was stolen
Police in Borehamwood appealing for information after an elderly woman was reportedly spat at during a walk along Clarendon Road.
The incident happened between 2pm and 3pm on Wednesday, 22nd April.
After the alleged spitting, the suspect(s) pointed to a window of a flat above, possibly attempting a distraction theft, although, there is no indication that anything was stolen.
CCTV images of two individuals who were in the area at the time have been released, as they may hold vital information that could help the investigation.
The police are urging anyone who recognises the individuals in the CCTV footage or who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
