Car seized after anti-social driving in Hertford
After recent reports of anti-social driving in Hertford, PC's stopped a black Honda Civic after it was found to be racing another vehicle
A car has been seized after it was found to be being driven in an anti-social manner in Hertford.
After recent reports of anti-social driving in Hertford, PC Greg Jones and PC Cory Hebden from the local neighbourhood team, stopped a black Honda Civic after it was found to be racing another vehicle on London Road.
The driver was spoken to regarding their manner of driving and the vehicle was seized under Section 59 Police Reform Act due to the vehicle being used in such manner.
Sergeant Jimmy Barber from the Hertford NPT said: “We take reports of anti-social driving seriously and will continue to respond to concerns from the local community.
“Our priority is keeping people safe and preventing dangerous behaviour on our roads. This stop demonstrates our zero tolerance, and if we have to seize a vehicle due to the way it is being driven, we will use every power we have to do so.”
