Bucks man among suspects arrested as part of Poole murder investigation

Dorset Police hold three men on suspicion of murder following suspected stabbing

Detectives are holding a man from Bletchley, Buckinghamshire in connection with the death of an 18-year-old in Poole, Dorset.

The incident, which happened in the early hours of Friday 19th June 2026, resulted in the young man being found with injuries on Longfleet Road and subsequently pronounced dead at the hospital due to a suspected stab wound.

The suspect from Buckinghamshire is one of three individuals arrested on suspicion of murder.

The other two suspects include a 20-year-old man from Blandford and a 22-year-old man from London.

While these three individuals remain in police custody for questioning, a 19-year-old from Poole who was initially arrested has been released with no further police action.

Dorset Police are appealing for information related to the movements of a dark coloured Nissan Juke, believed to have been involved in the incident.

The vehicle is reportedly missing a front bumper and has potential damage.

It was last seen between Dale Close and Blandford from 1.30am to 2.33am on the day of the incident.

As part of the investigation, officers have conducted searches at a property in Castleman Smith Close in Blandford.

Neighbourhood policing teams are also conducting additional patrols in the area to address community concerns.
