Dog walker targeted with religiously aggravated comments in Borehamwood
Police ask for help after reported park confrontation
Police are looking for witnesses after a reported confrontation in Borehamwood's Aberford Park, where comments believed to be religiously motivated were directed at a woman walking her dog.
This incident happened around 1pm on 13th April at the entrance to the park on Gateshead Road.
Two women are alleged to have blocked the entrance and confronted the dog walker, who is in her 40s.
The first suspect was reportedly wearing a light grey fitted top and light-coloured slim trousers, with light trainers.
The second suspect was described as wearing all black.
PC Malgorzata Smigulet is leading the investigation and wants to hear from anyone who might have seen what happened or who has dash cam footage.
"This was understandably a distressing situation for our victim and we have been conducting enquiries since this was first reported to us. As part of our enquiries, we are now seeking information from the public.
I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or may have captured it on dash cam footage at the time.
