Bedfordshire Police officer to appear in court on child sex offence charges

Inspector Scott Raghib, 45, is charged with three alleged offences dating back to 2005

A serving Bedfordshire Police officer is due to appear in court today (Thursday 23 July), after being charged with child sex offences.

45-year-old Inspector Scott Raghib, was arrested in June 2024 as part of an investigation by Northamptonshire Police and was immediately suspended from duty.

He has since been charged with three child sex offences, which are alleged to have taken place off-duty in 2005 while Inspector Raghib was a serving officer.

He will appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court.
