Witness appeal launched after fatal car park collision in Aylesbury
A woman in her fifties has died after the Stoke Mandeville incident
Thames Valley Police are calling for witnesses following a tragic road traffic collision at Stoke Mandeville Hospital car park B in Aylesbury, which resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
The incident occurred at approximately 2.20pm on Friday, 10th July, involving five vehicles: a blue Honda Jazz, a red Vauxhall Zafira, a blue Nissan Qashqai, a black BMW X1, and a white BMW 1 series alongside the pedestrian.
The victim, a woman in her fifties, was transported to the hospital for treatment but sadly succumbed to her injuries. Her family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained officers.
No arrests have been made in connection to the collision at this time.
Detective Sergeant Edward Croft of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit expressed condolences to the woman's family and is urging those who witnessed the incident to come forward.
“I also ask drivers who were in the area before the collision, particularly those in the car park at Stoke Mandeville Hospital at around 2.20pm, to review their dash-cam footage, as it may contain information that could assist our investigation,” Croft said.
