After going missing from Herrings Green Activity Farm, Aspen the bald eagle has been found.

The centre, near Bedford, has released a statement online to say they picked him up this morning (Tuesday 2 June 2026).

Aspen had been chased from Herrings Green Activity Farm in Wilstead just before a flying display on Monday (1 June 2026).

English School of Falconry said online:

"We are very happy to let you know Aspen is home, we picked him up earlier this morning, not far from home.

"We would like to take this opportunity to say a BIG thank you to everyone for sharing our post and looking for him. Without your help we may not have tracked him down, we are incredibly grateful.

"Aspen is now settled and has had something to eat."
