Three murder arrests made over death of 46-year-old woman in Luton

Three men have been arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Luton.

46-year-old Beata Szauer's body was found at her home in Brook Street on Wednesday 7th January, prompting a murder investigation.

A forensic post-mortem examination concluded that her death was likely caused by a stab wound.

On Tuesday 10th February, Bedfordshire Police arrested three men from Luton.

The suspects, two in their fifties and one in his forties, are being held on suspicion of murder.

They are currently in police custody for questioning.

Detective Chief Inspector Sam Khanna, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with Beata’s family and friends at this time.

“We are progressing several lines of enquiry and are urging anyone with information to come forward so we can establish the circumstances around what led to this tragic incident.”
