Two arrests were made in connection to drug supply as police executed a search warrant in Hoddesdon earlier today.

The warrant, authorised under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, was conducted at a property in Colthurst Gardens following intelligence received by police.

During the operation, a 19 year old man and a 17 year old girl were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.

Suspected class A drugs, class B drugs, mobile phones and other items were seized during the raid.

The warrant was conducted by Broxbourne Intervention officers, the Neighbourhood Policing Team and colleagues from the Rural Operational Support Team (ROST).

Intervention PC Jordan Curry said: “We continue to work across the borough to tackle drug supply and this activity forms part of that.

“I hope the community is reassured by this proactive operation and that we can and do act on intelligence received.

“Please continue to report concerns about drug activity in your area to us so we can take action.”
