Teenage girl seriously sexually assaulted near park in Croxley Green
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward
Police are searching for witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage after a teenage girl was assaulted in Croxley Green.
The incident took place on Saturday, 18th April, at around 9pm near Barton Way and Malvern Way park areas.
The teenager was approached by an unknown man who threatened her and forced her to perform sexual acts.
The suspect is described as having 'messy' dark hair, about 5ft 5in tall, with large hands, skinny legs, and a deep voice.
He was dressed in a black zip-up top with a white shirt underneath, a puffer jacket, skinny jeans or trousers and black Nike trainers featuring a brightly coloured wavy design.
Detective Inspector Fay Tooley stated: "I recognise that this would have been an extremely frightening ordeal for the victim, who is being safeguarded and supported by specialist officers within the Public Protection Unit."
"We know this will also cause a great deal of concern among the local community. Members of the public are encouraged to report any concerns or suspicious activity."
"CCTV reviews in the local area are being carried out, alongside other enquiries."
