Police arrest after an attack in Ayr one week ago
A man is due in court following an attempted murder investigation
Police investigating an attempted murder in Ayr a week ago say a man has been arrested and charged.
Police were called to a report of a 39-year-old man found injured in Braeside Road at around 10am on Tuesday June 17.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police said that a 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder.
He's due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court today.
