Man hospitalised after Aberdeenshire business park fire

SFRS sent eight appliances to the scene

A man has been taken to hospital after a fire at a business park in Kintore.

Firefighters were called to Midmill Business Park around 10.24am on Saturday 29 March, where the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) says six engines and two specialist units remain.

Police Scotland has urged members of the public to stay away from the area while nearby residents are advised to keep their windows and doors closed.

Police advice

The force said: "Emergency services are responding to a fire at an industrial unit in the Tumulus Way area of Kintore.

"The incident was reported to police around 10.40am.

"One man has been taken to hospital for treatment and emergency services remain at the scene.

"The public are asked to stay away from the area and local residents should keep their windows and doors shut at this time."
