Man charged over murder of two-month-old baby in Aberdeen

A man has been charged in connection with the murder of a two-month-old baby boy in Aberdeen.
He died early on June 11th last year, after being taken to the city's children's hospital the night before.
The 33-year-old man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of a two-month-old baby boy in Aberdeen.
“The child was taken to Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital around 12.30am on Wednesday, 11 June, 2025, and he died a short time later.
“The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 4 February, 2026.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
