Hull City footballer Sorba Thomas is unhurt after a road traffic collision near the club's training ground in Cottingham, according to recent reports.

Emergency services are currently on the scene at Millhouse Woods Lane following the accident.

Authorities have closed the road to enable emergency services to manage the situation effectively, and drivers are advised to avoid the area.

The accident's proximity to the training ground initially raised concerns, but Hull City has confirmed Thomas was not harmed in the incident.

A Hull City spokesperson said: "Hull City is relieved to confirm that Sorba Thomas is unharmed following a road traffic accident near to the club’s Cottingham training ground."

"The club is aware of images of Sorba’s car circulating on social media and can reassure supporters that he has sustained no injuries and emerged from his vehicle completely unscathed."
