Woman dies after 'explosion' in Chippenham
Wiltshire Police have confirmed that a woman has sadly died following an incident at an address in Chippenham this afternoon
Wiltshire Police have confirmed that a woman has sadly died following an incident at an address in Chippenham this afternoon.
A spokesperson for the police told us "Along with the fire service and ambulance colleagues, we attended an address in Orchard Crescent at approximately 3.20pm today following a report of an explosion."
Sadly, a woman in her 40s died at the scene.
They added "The woman’s next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with her family at this time."
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
