They needed penalties, but England's Lionesses have made it through the quarter-finals of Euro 2025, beating Sweden on penalties.

Sweden were dominant in the first half, scoring two goals but Lucy Bronze pulled a goal back in the 79th minute and Michelle Agyemang levelled just two minutes later to take the game to extra time.

It was still 2-2 after extra time taking us to a penalty shoot-out, which England eventually won 3-2.

England will face Italy in the semi-finals on Tuesday.
