Man arrested on suspicion of murder of man in Sparkbrook area of Birmingham
West Midlands Police have been investigating the death of a man on Friday 28th August
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the Sparkbrook area of Birmingham.
West Midlands Police launched an investigation following the death of a 22-year-old man on Friday 28th August 2026.
Emergency services were called to a property in Long Street at around 11am, where the man was discovered with serious head injuries.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following enquiries, a 28-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning.
