Darts star Luke Humphries receives MBE

The former world number one from Newbury was presented with the honour by Prince William

Darts star Luke Humphries has thanked fans for their support after collecting an MBE for his services to the sport.

The 30-year-old, from Newbury, won the PDC World Darts Championship in 2024 and is a former world number one.

He was presented with the honour at Windsor Castle today (10 December) by Prince William.

Posting on X, Humphries said: "Hugely honoured and humbled to have received an MBE today, presented by Prince William @KensingtonRoyal.

"It's an amazing achievement for me and my family, and one that I am extremely proud of.

"Thanks to everyone for their well wishes and support."
