Yellow weather warning issued for ice across Northern Ireland
The Met office has warned that clearing skies and scattered wintry showers will bring icy patches and some disruption this evening.
Showers this afternoon may give a fresh dusting so snow in a few places. Temperatures this evening are expected to dip to -1°C.
A yellow weather warning will be in place from 6pm this evening until 11am tomorrow (Tues 6th to Wed 7th).
Over 190 schools are closed today due to adverse weather conditions and heating issues within local rural schools.

Today: It will be a mainly dry start to the morning, but soon turning cloudy with outbreaks of rain. Some snow over the hills in the morning. Some thaw at low levels. Breezy. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Tonight: Cloud and rain soon clearing southeast to allow clearer spells for a time. Some showers then spread in for mainly northern and eastern areas. Strong northwest winds. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
Wednesday: Dry with bright spells through the morning and much of the afternoon, then cloudy with some light rain in the evening. Strong northwest winds at first, becoming light. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday: Staying cold with some bright spells and a few showers from Thursday through to Saturday, showers perhaps more persistent and wintry for a time late Thursday into early Friday.
