Author: Emma DicksonPublished 10th Dec 2025

Bowling and entertainment brand King Pins is gearing up for its highly anticipated Belfast opening this Friday (12th December), bringing a new next-generation leisure experience to the heart of the city centre.

Located within The Keep development on Castle Lane, the huge multi-million-pound complex is set to become Belfast’s go-to destination to bowl, eat and play, just in time for festive mate dates, fun family days, and work nights out.

So, what can you expect? 🎳

The Belfast venue offers a thrilling mix of activities across two massive floors, spanning a ginormous 30,000 sq ft.

On the first floor, 15 full-sized ten-pin bowling lanes greet you on arrival, surrounded by a lively line-up of immersive games and experiences. Guests can also try their hand at a huge range of games and activities, including several NI firsts, such as:

Duck Pin Bowling – a twist on classic bowling sure to be popular with the kids - played with smaller, lighter handheld balls with no finger holes, and shorter, squatter pins.

Tech Darts – digital, screen-linked darts with automatic scoring, alleviating the need to nominate your own maths mastermind.

Crazy Pool – like crazy golf but make it pool! Make your way around the course and beat the obstacles to land your shot.

Ice-Free Curling – complete with overhead cameras for a bird’s-eye view as you shoot your stone to the target.

Plus, try your hand at American pool, or visit the large arcade packed with everything from driving simulators and classic retro classics such as Bop It and the Stepmaniax dance machine. Or book one of the two spacious party rooms, which double as private karaoke booths, accommodating up to 12 people.

Upstairs, feast like a King, in King Pins’ in-house restaurant, which will serve delicious pizzas, chicken tenders and wings, loaded fries, sides and more. There’s a dedicated kids menu, regular specials and a variety of drinks.

The perfect spot to refuel or take a break between games, you can also play Shuffleboard or Tech Darts too.
