Police say the plants filled two floors of the building
Suspected cannabis plants worth £1.4million have been seized by police following searches in Strabane.
Police say it’s believed to be one of the biggest suspected cannabis operations in the North West in recent years.
The search operation yesterday was led by detectives investigating suspected drugs criminality linked to the INLA.
Detective Inspector Pyper from Organised Crime Branch said, "We have dismantled a large, sophisticated suspected cannabis operation with row after row of suspected cannabis plants that filled two floors of the building.”
Paraphernalia connected to drugs cultivation and supply has also been seized
Two men, aged 24 and 28, have been charged with cultivating cannabis, possession of a Class B controlled drug, and possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
Both men are due to appear before Strabane Magistrates’ Court this morning.
