Separate security alerts end in South Armagh and Londonderry
Separate security alerts have ended in South Armagh and Londonderry.
In South Armagh, police were called out to the Sliabh Mor area of Mullaghbawn in the early hours of this morning
It followed the discovery of a suspicious device.
Police say although the alert is now over enquiries are continuing, with a further update expected later.
Meanwhile in Derry’s Waterside, a suspicious object found on the grounds of a primary school yesterday morning has been declared a hoax.
Sacred Heart Primary School and some nearby homes were evacuated when it happened in the Trench Road area.
Cordons have been lifted and the object's been taken away for forensic examination.
