Renewed police appeal as woman remains critical following Armagh crash

Police are renewing a plea for information about a road traffic collision last month as a woman remains in a critical condition in hospital.

On Thursday, November 27th at around 6:45am, police received a call to a collision on the Monaghan Road, close to Armagh.

It was reported a woman was running along the road when she was struck by a vehicle.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Officers attended, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The woman, aged in her 50s was subsequently taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

“Our enquiries are ongoing, and we would appeal to anyone with any information, including CCTV, dash-cam or other footage, to contact us on the 101 number, quoting reference 137 of 27/11/25.

“We are particularly keen to speak to the drivers of any vehicle which was in the area at the time. Any information you have may be very helpful to our investigation."
