A 46-year-old man has been charged with arson endangering life with intent.

It follows a fire at a flat on the Antrim Road in north Belfast on Friday.

He's due before Belfast Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

A PSNI statement said:

A 46-year-old man arrested following a fire at a flat on the Antrim Road in north Belfast on Friday 23rd May, has been charged with arson endangering life with intent.

He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday 26th May.
