Motorcyclist in critical condition following Belfast crash
It happened on the Lisburn Road
A motorcyclist in his 30's is in a critical condition following a crash in South Belfast.
His bike collided with a car on the Lisburn Road yesterday evening.
A PSNI statement said, “Police in south Belfast are appealing for information following a two vehicle collision on the Lisburn Road on Sunday 22nd March.”
“The collision, involving a motorcycle and a silver Volvo V40 car, occurred near the junction with Elmwood Avenue shortly before 7.30pm. The male motorcyclist, aged in his 30’s, was taken to hospital following the collision where he remains in critical condition. The Lisburn Road was closed overnight but has since re-opened.”
“Officers would ask anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dash-cam or mobile phone footage which could assist with their enquiries, to contact them at Lisburn Road on 101, quoting reference number 1331 22/03/26.”
