Stormont's First Minister Michelle O'Neill and former First Minister Arlene Foster are to appear before the UK Covid Inquiry today (Wednesday).

Robin Swann who was Northern Ireland's Health Minister during the pandemic and Chief Medical Officer Michael McBride will also give evidence in London.

Today's inquiry module will look at, and make recommendations on, the approach to testing, tracing and isolation adopted in Northern Ireland during that time.

The inquiry was ordered by Boris Johnson during his tenure as Prime Minister in May 2021 and public hearings began almost two years ago.

They are due to end next February.
