Police are appealing for information on the attack in the car park at Cavehill country Park late last night.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Just after 9.45pm on Thursday, 2nd April, we received a report that two men had been sitting in a black Vauxhall Grandland in the carpark at Cavehill Country Park when the door was forced open and two men manhandled them from the vehicle.

"The two suspects are described as aged in their 30s, wearing snoods and with local accents."

The spokesperson branded the incident "a frightening ordeal for the vehicle occupants."
