Man and woman charged with murder of Barry Furfey in Lisburn
A man and woman have been charged with the murder of 42 year old Barry Furfey in Lisburn.
He died in hospital earlier this week after being found seriously injured at a property in the Wardsborough Road area in the early hours of Monday morning.
Detective Inspector Jill Angus said, “My thoughts are with Barry’s family, who are left to try to come to terms with their devastating loss.”
A PSNI statement said last night, “Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Major Investigation Team investigating the murder of Barry Furfey in Lisburn have charged two people to court.”
“A 37-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman are charged with murder and are expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 17.”
