Person dies after two-vehicle crash in Omagh

Emergency services attended the scene, where one person was pronounced dead.

The Clanabogan Road was closed but has now reopened.

A person has died following a two-vehicle crash in Omagh yesterday (Sunday).

The collision involved a Volvo and a Mazda in the Clanabogan Road area shortly after nine o’clock in the morning.

Emergency services attended the scene, where one person was pronounced dead.

The Clanabogan Road was closed but has now reopened.

Detective Inspector Dave Stewart, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any information which could assist with our investigation – including dash-cam or other footage – contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 466 of 17/05/26.”
