Belfast: Emergency services responding to search and rescue incident at River Lagan

Emergency services including two Coastguard helicopters have been called to a search and rescue incident at the River Lagan in Belfast this morning.
They were called out to the Ormeau Bridge area at around 7.30am.
A statement from the Coastguard said, “HM Coastguard assisted the Police Service of Northern Ireland with an incident at Ormeau Bridge, Belfast, reported at about 7.30am on 21 January.”
“An HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter and Irish Coast Guard helicopter were sent. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended.”
