Arrest made as police investigate Lisburn incident

Police investigating threats made to residents in Lisburn have made an arrest.

The threats were allegedly made to people living in Altona Drive on Saturday, April 19th. On Thursday, April 24th, a man in his 30s was detained.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "(He) was arrested on suspicion of Intimidation and Threats to Damage Property.

“He remains in custody at this time, assisting with police enquiries.”

The spokesperson continued: “We take all reports of intimidation and threats very seriously, and we will continue to investigate them robustly.

“I would appeal to anyone who might have any information at all which could assist us, to come forward."
